Are Python Certifications worth it ?
There are no officially recognised qualifications or certificates for Python.
Potential employers are much more likely to be interested in your portfolio of work so make sure you can provide a link to a gitlab or similar repository. Contributions to useful open source projects are particularly well regarded.
EDIT: fixed typo

So I was invited to take a python hackrrank assessment and I am wondering if I can pass it if I have never attempted any sort of coding assessments before? I work as an energy analyst and have used python for mostly regression and time series forecasting. So I only know pandas and most of the time I just used coding resources to develop a model. Since I am not a developer I dont do any object oriented programming and my models are not deployed for trading so i dont care about performance of my code. I asked the recruiter about the test and all she said was that its a intermediate python test. On this website the intermediate python skills are mentioned https://www.hackerrank.com/skills-directory/python_intermediate
I am wondering if there is an optimal strategy for me to learn python and perform well on this test?
