Just checked today and my Halifax was paid +£100. Also checked the other post and it seems like Lloyds has paid out as well.
Between now and November, there are opporunities to snag up £100s when opening a student account. There are generally limitations that apply - the most obvious is that these are only available to Full time higher education students.
Natwest/RBS - £100 when opening a new account - You need to be on a UCAS-accredited undergraduate course of 2+ years, a full-time post-graduate course, or training to be a nurse at a UK university or college.
HSBC - £100 when you open the account & use the debit card 5+ times within 30 day. Only open to first-year under- and postgraduates, and those doing certain BTEC courses.
Nationwide - £100 when you open a new account and deposit £500. You need to be on a UCAS-accredited course of 2+ years.
Halifax - £100 when you open a new account and deposit £500.
Llyods - £100 when you open a new account and deposit £500.
Bank of Scotland - £100 when you open a new account and deposit £500.
Apart from the cash bonus, some of these accounts offer additional perks, like 0% overdraft and free subscription services.
Be advised, a credit check will be run on these accounts as they also offer overdraft facilities.
Generally, they will want you to use these accounts as your main account, but there is nothing stopping you from switching out after you receive your bonus.
