Say it's inevitable, and that a proper film adaptation of "Hamilton" is going to happen with zero chances of it getting cancelled. What do you hope the filmmakers would do in order to make the movie, at the very least, decent?

For me it's all about the power in the expression. I mean, I love the rythym and the cleverness of the lyrics, but what keeps me obsessed is how much emotional impact is conveyed through the singing. Plus, it's just so unusual to see a musical and hear hip hop, so it's very refreshing.
Having a diverse cast is worthwhile because it changes the show from a dry historical drama piece to an interpretation of history that gets you to pay attention. I don't think it's a gimmick, I think it's part of what makes Hamilton what it is.
I'm doing a terrible job, so, erm... Hamilton is good because the music is original, the lyrics are extremely clever, the story is compelling, the direction is expressive, the acting is powerful, the style is attention-grabbing, and the casting forces the audience to consider the context of the history and the genre.
Or something like that?
