I saw Hamilton today after years of wanting and hoping I would be able to see it. It was incredible. I don't know how it was able to live to up to my high hopes but it certainly did. I came home after and I sobbed in my room for half and hour because of the ending (I hadn't listened to the second act of the soundtrack) but also just because I loved it so much and it was everything I was wishing it could be. Trey Curtis played Alexander Hamilton and I thought he was absolutely fantastic (to be honest, I enjoyed his performance more than Lin-Manuel Miranda's in the soundtrack). Eliza played by Morgan Anita Wood was also amazing. Desmond Sean Ellington as George Washington, Paris Nix as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, Donald Webber Jr as Aaron Burr, Rick Negron as King George, and Maria Harmon as Angelica. They were all amazing. I wish I could memorize the whole performance.
