Hand foot and mouth disease
Sadly she will likely get it. It’s so contagious and spreads before the little rashes appear. My son caught it a couple months ago. He had the rash on his hands and feet and really high fevers for about week and then was fine. I caught it from him and became extremely sick and actually developed viral meningitis. This is a rare complication for adults from one of the HFM strains. I was in the hospital for a day and then recovered at home after a few days. It was a night mare. Not trying to scare you because that’s super rare ! But it does suck more for adults i feel like. Good luck ! Buy lots of baby Tylenol! More on reddit.com

Hand, Foot and Mouth disease

My summer was:

Covid for the entire family, end of July

Cutting SEVEN new teeth in three weeks in August for the little one

Hand foot and mouth disease at the end of August, which had me vomiting so much the capillaries in my face bursted so I was covered in purple freckles. Meanwhile my little one had a mouth full of sores and went on a nursing strike, when nursing is normally my number one tool to comfort him. He was also barely eating.

Really bad head cold for the entire family at the start of September. Me and my husband especially felt really sick and low on energy for a week.

Things have been alright since then, but yesterday I went to pick up my little one from daycare and they told me he had mild diarrhea and a slightly raised temperature and I was like, oh no, not again. He seems better today though, so we'll see.

Hand foot and mouth disease on adults..how long does this hell lasts??
Both my sons had it but my youngest had it BAD. Bad rash and blisters everywhere. After a month his feet and fingers started to peel and I mean really peel. I was pulling off half the sole of his foot. The peeling lasted about 1.5 months. After that his toenails split and started to fall off. Just letting you know to watch out for those! What to Do if Your Child Has Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease | Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
We do know that children can spread hand, foot and mouth disease starting the day before the rash shows up and for several days after the rash appears. As long as children do not have a fever and otherwise are acting like themselves, most child care centers do not exclude children with the assumption that good handwashing is routinely practiced. Most of the time, children do well with this virus. Not all children have pain, and the rash needs no treatment...
