This is a "buy once, cry once" purchase. A handmade one from a saddle shop (or even a leather worker on Etsy) is going to last you 8-10x longer if you work hard, or a lifetime if you don't. The cheap ones from Boot Barn etc will stretch out in about 4-6 months. There's a reason you see a lot of real cowboys wearing nice custom leather belts.
If you don't want to buy new, I second the suggestion below to look for a heavy duty second-hand belt.

The guys at Orion leather make very nice belts with a western flair to them. They are thick as hell and made of one large piece of leather, I'm convinced mine will last for years and its thicker any anything else I own. Maybe something like this? .
