There is a d. When I say it, it sounds kind of like a ‘duh’ sound (with the ‘uh’ being quite a bit fainter than the ‘d’) but it might be an accent thing. Maybe try listening to audio on online dictionaries, I suggest Cambridge as it has both US and UK pronunciation audio.
