I’m completely okay with the long, complicated, multi-syllabic names. Nebuchadnezzar? It’s fine, just pronounce every syllable exactly the way it’s written. Likewise with Ashwatthaman. Likewise with Quetzalcoatl. Likewise with Tezcatlipoca. Etc. But what gets me every time are the Celtic names that AREN’T pronounced the way that they’re written. Medb is Maeve?! Scáthach is Ska Hey?! Fionn mac Cumhaill is Finn McCool?!?! I know, I know. The reason that this happens is because Irish and Welsh simply use Roman letters to signify different sounds than what English speakers are used to. But it still boggles me every time I see the Celtic names written out in the NA server. At least in FGO JP you get the Celtic names written out in katakana, so you have a rough pronunciation guide right under your nose.

Three boys in my classes, Kainalu (Hawaiian), Torquil (Scottish), and Ndongoi (Kenyan).I’m sure there were others, but I could never wrap my tongue around these. Also difficult to address a young child by these names all year. Their friends came up with nicknames for most of them. I really had a hard time calling a cute little girl Whiskey all year.

I honestly cannot pronounce "Saoirse" and I am so sorry to those with this name. You're going to have me repeat how you say your name every time we meet until I get it right ETA: and you're probably saying, "that's super easy!" Yes, yes it is, but the SPELLING. It throws me off!
