I haven't seen anyone discuss this specifically, but do we think they're going to stick with the book description or the iconic movie cake we know from Philosopher's Stone?
For reference, this is the book description:
"From an inside pocket of his black overcoat he pulled a slightly squashed box. Harry opened it with trembling fingers. Inside was a large, sticky chocolate cake with Happy Birthday Harry written on it in green icing."
To contrast, the movie cake has the iconic pink frosting with green lettering, but is misspelled as "Happee Birthdae Harry."
The overall merchandising of the HP brand continues to advertise the pink cake, I've seen the actual cake being sold at the Harry Potter Shop and there's pins and keychains and everything. The pink cake is about as iconic as Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans.
But the way Hagrid mispells "Happy Birthday" in the movie portrays him as illiterate. Also, the book cake is just chocolate frosting. Will we see a variation of the cake, or do we think they'll stick to the movie design for iconography?
