Hi! I’m going to Epic Universe in September with some friends and we’re really excited about the new Harry Potter attraction. Do you recommend going straight there as soon as the park opens, or is it better to wait and try later in the day?
Also, I’d love some advice on these questions: • What is considered a “good” or reasonable wait time for that ride? • Does the line usually get worse in the morning or in the afternoon? • Would it be smarter to save this ride for the end of the day?
Any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful. Thanks!
Universal Studios Epic Universe - Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry Review
Harry Potter ride was very underwhelming.
What is the ride system for the epic universe harry potter ride?
The thing about The Ministry of Magic that no one is talking about...

First of all this park exceeded expectations completely. I was expecting a full crowd on Memorial Day however remembered it was only at 25% capacity.
I was able to get on the Harry Potter and the battle at the ministry Ride. Totally worth the wait, however, I highly discourage the single rider line. The regular line was about 20 minutes faster. I disliked how the organization is for the single rider line. I had to ask two cast members where the line started and ended. The effects though are so neat while waiting in line.
The animatronics alone were astonishing. The way the ride is set up and reminds me of tower of terror at Hollywood Studios.
I would give it a 4-5/10. The scenes are actually really cool I’ll say that but the ride motions and stuff like that were kind of boring.
Number 1 ride for me was hiccups. That ride was so freaking fun rode it around 8 times. I actually enjoyed the werewolf coaster a lot too, but way too short.
