Potter's house sign - weird flex?
In England they have these "plaques" all over the country that are places of historical significance. Like Arthur Conan Doyle's house or a house where they discovered a cure for something hundreds of years ago.
Harry's survival is pretty historically significant to wizards in England, so it'd make sense it has a plaque.

The sign at the Potter's house which was introduced in Deathly hallows Chapter 17:
"On this spot, on this night of 31 October 1981, Lily and James Potter lost their lives. Their son, Harry, remains the only wizard ever to have survived the Killing Curse."
The sign is about remembering the perished parents. Why add the last bit in like he's holding a record or something. Do they update when someone else survives the curse as well?

It’s mentioned that wizards visit this spot because of the historical significance - not just the Potters’ death but because what happened there had never happened before. It makes sense that the memorial would mention that in equal part.
