Is Home Alone 2 in 4K on Apple TV?
Surface 2 "play to" feature streaming HD movies to Xbox One
is Ultra HD 4k dvd way better then streaming Movies in 4k?
Is there as way to remove multiple instances of the same movie (different libraries) from "Continue Watching"?

I live in Australia and I have to watch the 4K version on Disney+ each year, because on Apple where I purchased Home Alone 2 many years ago, it’s still only the HD version. Anyone in America know if you guys have the 4K over there? If so… why is it only HD in Australia? There’s something weird about the colouring in the HD version. It’s almost… orangey.
is Ultra HD 4k blue ray dvd way better then streaming Movies in 4k?
Better format, right?
I have a nice LG C4 OLED 4k tv and a nice Samsung Surround set Q990D
Thinking of starting Ultra HD collection and getting a nice Panasonic DP-UB820 player.
thanks
So I have a UHD Movies Library, HD Movies Library and Kids Movies library (which is a folder inside the "HD Movies Library"). Whenever we watch a movie that is in more than one library it shows up 2 or 3 times in "Continue Watching" (see image). Is there a way to configure this so the movie only shows up once?
Title says it all, but save for the headache of ripping blurays for our own digital locker needs, there's no obvious legal way to own digital copies outside of lockers.
Anyone think this will ever happen? Or will companies want to make sure that we're under their control at all times and a true digital-only solution will never exist? For those that mostly consume media through "other means", would it interest you to pay for the media if this kind of option existed?
Much like physical media before it, in this scenario you'd own the file and have access to a cloud download at all times. If they want to upsell an 8k copy years from now you'd have to repurchase as we have in the past for previous physical media upgrades.
Might get downvoted to hell and I'm sure I'm not the only person to bring this up but it's still a very relevant question as we move into 2026.
