What is a Health Care Training job?
What qualifications are required to start a career in healthcare training?
What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Health Care Training position, and why are they important?
Hi everyone!
I work in healthcare, have worked in healthcare since Covid, and a little before then too. I love my job, but I'm burning out. I always hear about people who have these amazing WFH jobs where they can work kind of on their own schedule, take long walks on lunch breaks, step away for a bit if needed during the day, etc., and it sounds too good to be true, which I suppose means there's a hell of a catch.
I've worked from home once as a CSR, and while the company was good, the pay was incredibly low, $12/hour, and I couldn't even get up to get a sweater or run to the bathroom without asking for permission. I haven't worked other CSR positions, so I don't know if that's just normal in the industry though.
I totally get that the people who have these supposed amazing WFH jobs likely worked through the trenches and worked their way up, and might even have a degree. I'm not opposed to starting in the trenches, even another CSR position though I'd prefer to avoid it if possible, and working my way up, but I just don't have much in the way of marketable skills. I have a few years of customer service, some manufacturing experience, and healthcare. I'm interested in a lot of different things though, mostly writing and IT/tech/programming, and I tend to learn quickly.... except the programming. Always struggle with that. I did briefly flirt with the idea of freelance writing, but that was right before AI took off, and well... it's hard to break in to writing nowadays.
I guess my main question is... where in the hell do I start? Should I suck it up and look for the CSR jobs? Should I try and go to school for something? Is there some kind of opportunity that I'm missing here?
