Heaven Benchmark score good or bad?
If you're just using the presets, those are a bit low- but given that you're new to PC, you probably have a ton of background processes running at startup that don't need to exist. You can right click the taskbar, open task manager, click the bottom left(?) text or button to get the actual task manager, and there should be a startup tab where you can turn stuff off so it doesn't run at startup. Also, go in BIOS and turn XMP on so your RAM runs at full speed instead of 2133, that really hurts on AMD. More on reddit.com

I used to use the Heaven Benchmark and just let it play through a few times if I didn't see any video anomalies then that was good enough and the GPUs never game me an issue. Is Heaven benchmark still a good test or is there something better I can use? I bought a ASUS 4070ti over the weekend... More on forums.tomshardware.com

It’s fine. Heaven is mostly obsolete though since there is no DX12 or Vulkan support. I do still use it as a stability check sometimes though. More on reddit.com

I just build my first pc ever and this is why just got into this benchmark thing. So I used Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 (heard it was good for beginners and still useful despite being really old)
To the stats:
FPS: 124.2 Score: 3128 Min FPS: 55.4 Max FPS: 291.9
System: Platform: Windows NT 6.2 (build 9200) 64 bit (so Win10) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core Processor (3493 MHz) 6x GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT 31.0.21029.1006 (4095MB) x1
Settings: Render: Direct3D11 Mode: 1920x1080 8xAA fullscreen Preset: Custom Quality: Ultra Tessellation: Extreme
So I'm asking here because I didn't find any scores for comparison for this setup
Please let me now if these stats are ok, and if there are better ways to measure it!

Heaven good because you can pause it in one of the high load scenes. Then overclock until FPS starts going back down, it crashes or you see artifacts. Click to expand... that's .... really smart. I usually test out new GPUs by OCing until I instantly get artifacts in 3DMark and then back off until they're gone, then loop ... but that sounds faster ... I love Unigine's benchmark trio.
