As the title says, I want the thickest, heaviest sheet I can find for a reasonable amount of money. All other things being equal, I prefer percale to sateen, but I've come to understand that sateen tends to be heavier and that's what I'm after. Would love some options at different price points up to $600.
Reading the Sferra "Linen Finder" guide, I'm led to believe that their heaviest percale sets are the Analisa and Grande Hotel. I can get an Analisa fitted and flat sheet for under $300 (before tax) from Linen Society with the current 20% off sale. I won't be able to read my pillow logo through the Analisa, right? If I've only purchased beading from Costco so far; in comparison will the Analisa feel very thick and heavy to me? And how should I feel about it not being extra-long staple - will it still last a very long time?
The absolute heaviest sheet Sferra sells is the Milos. I could get the Manor Sateen from Linen Society, which is supposedly comparable, for a bit over $600 before tax. Will it be way, way heavier than the Analisa?
I'd order swatches but I want to take advantage of this Linen Society sale. Unless that's a bad idea and you tell me I'd spend less combing through eBay. Thanks for your help!
Update: Learned that linen will be the heaviest, and found some good linen options! Would still be interested in help finding the heaviest cotton sheets around.

Hi everyone!
I am in search of a unicorn! About 10-15 years ago stores stopped making quality sheets. Every sheet set I’ve bought has been thin and lasted only a year or so. I recently found a bottom sheet stored away from my grandmother. It was very heavy and thick cotton. The label said it was from kohls. She died about 10 years ago so I’m guessing the sheets are from 10-15 years prior. They are the thickness of 2-3 modern sheets. I am happy to spend a few hundred dollars on sheet sets.
Does anyone have recommendations for cotton sheets that are heavy/thick but are not flannel?
I am not even sure how to go about looking as I am unsure of what search terms to use...?
Thanks in advance!
