I would get an ergonomic chair and a sit-stand desk. No reason not to be ergonomic while you’re sitting. The desk I have is the ApexDesk Elite Pro. It’s 71” x 33” and very comfortably fits 2 large monitors plus both my laptops (work and personal). It has a big range of height, and very smooth electronic raising and lowering. I believe it has 4 memory settings as well. Comes in multiple “finishes” that look quite nice, but the desktop is actually plastic so it’s extremely durable. Very highly rated on “best desk” rankings. The only negative I can think of is that the cable that powers the electronic raise/lower device runs under the desktop, and the little stickers they include to keep the cable in place last about 2 hours. Probably use some command hooks or something instead—I haven’t followed up because it’s only mildly annoying and not actively in my way as yet. Best of all, Costco sells it for $649.99, which is about $100 less than Amazon or even the Apex manufacturer website ($799, they do have more color choices than Costco). You’d still save $40-90 even if you have to pay to join Costco first. And then you still have a year of Costco too. ETA: The chair I have is the Branch Ergonomic chair, which is basically like “If you’re not going to shell out for an Aeron chair, get this chair.” More on reddit.com
