I have quite a bit of lower back pain from an old injury, and while I didn’t notice an improvement or anything, I do sleep comfortably most nights and when I don’t it’s not the mattress. Moving to a new apartment soon and figure I could upgrade my bed. Every YouTuber and their mom is sponsored by helix so I figured I’d give it a shot. I was in the military for a while and suffer from severe lower back pain so I wanted something pretty high quality. But $3k (after discount) for a luxury bed seems like a scam. Has anyone bought their Elite series mattress and can vouch for this, or should I look elsewhere and save my money?

If you live in the US and you’re open to saving 75% off the retail price, I recommend considering purchasing a sleep trial mattress on Facebook Marketplace. I am looking for a good new mattress that is Medium firmness twin for a side sleeper. Should I get one with helix or just get something at living spaces.
(sorry forgot to mention that I can’t stand the feel of coils and often shift in my sleep. Is there a way to filter those in the helix website?)

No. Do not do it. We bought a Helix Elite mattress a little over a year ago and already have considerable sagging despite being very different weights. I'm a side sleeper and the mattress feels like it never properly broke in while still somehow sagging. I will say that I've never really noticed the coils, which is a plus. We are already looking to replace this mattress and make it our guest bed.
