Hi guys,
I know in terms of availability the Saber is the obvious choice. However, I think there is a chance I can get the regular R3 Pro.
I know about their differences (mainly is the DACs). What sound do you prefer or is there even a considerate difference between the two?
I'm tempted to go with the regular because people say the Cirrus Logic are more "musical" and more forgiving for all types of music, and it seems to be my thing.
If you have any feedback it would be much appreciated :)
Hello, I cannot decide between these two and need some opinions about the differences between these two, it’s a plus if you had both. Thanks in advance!
Hi. I can't find on AliExpress or Hiby website, stock for 2022 version. So I would like to ask you if there is much difference between the 2 versions?
I have a Fiio M6 and I was encouraged to change to the Hiby R3 Saber Pro but I don't know if the first version or the one of the 2022 version would be better choice.
Thanks.
I just never got playlists to work on any of them. Sitting in a drawer gathering dust...
The most obvious difference is the output power, both single and balanced. I've had both for a few days and they sound very similar. More power is recommended for headphones, earbuds and some more demanding iems, especially planars. 2022 version is more powerful.
As the title says, i your help choosing between the two.
I would get the R1 from the Hiby website for 85€, or the R3 Pro Saber used for around 130-150€. I like the looks of the R3 more, and it seems to be a bit better in general, but is it worth paying more for a used device?
Is the difference this significant? I like that the R3 has a balanced output, so i think it would last me longer as i would not have the need to get a better one later on just to have the balanced output that the R1 is missing.
Im also open to your suggestions in the ~150€ price range.
