We all have that one show or movie we loved on Netflix, the one you tell people about constantly, but for some reason, nobody ever seems to give it a shot. Mine is “The OA” ,weird, emotional, and absolutely brilliant. Every time I recommend it, people nod politely and go right back to rewatching The Office for the 6th time. I’m looking for the best films on Netflix that no one talks about. I consider myself somewhat of a movie connoisseur, and enjoy watching highly acclaimed films. I feel as if I’ve seen everything on Netflix that has been awarded so I’m looking for those hidden gems that not many people know about ? Drop the name and a spoiler free description if possible.

The Netflix for you algorithm is god awful and always pushes the worst movies. The same goes for most of the movies they showcase in any category, but I know there are hidden gems. They are just hard to find.
