"I drive by this place all the time but yesterday, I finally decided to pop in on my home. I didn't have a lot of time to shop but was able to score a vintage wool coat almost immediately upon entering store. When I was about to check out, Trish showed me a couple of pair of vintage heels. A pair of vintage Chanel pumps and a pair of vintage Gucci pumps. The Chanel was sooo cute but a half size to big for me. I did scoop up the pair of Gucci pumps and I cannot wait to wear it. The price for everything is extremely fair. Trish is incredibly helpful and seems to be extremely passionate with what she does. I will definitely be coming back."

They authenticate using some bogus AI app that is not good at detecting fakes. Plus their prices are ridiculous - I once saw a Zara dress being sold for $40 lmao. Also maybe I’m just unlucky, but their staff have consistently been rude and unhelpful. I once walked in and wasn’t greeted, then the person who walked in right after me was warmly greeted? Another time I was asking for assistance and another customer interrupted. The sales associate immediately ignored me to help them. Sorry ranting but I love a great thrift and consignment shop and desperately wanted to like this place but it is just mediocre.

I’m trying to make fairly sustainable fashion choices and have moved away from fast fashion. I buy a handful of nice, carefully selected pieces and wear them forever. However, I changed sizes after childbirth and need a new wardrobe. I don’t want to spend too much money buying everything new but I also hated consignment shopping during my very limited experience. I found the stores I shopped at to be packed with cheap, unfashionable polyester clothing.
I’m looking for better consignment/used clothes stores in the twin cities area. I wear 6/8 sizes and I need some work blouses, jeans and dresses made with good fabrics. I spend anywhere between $50-200 on pieces for clothing to give you and idea on budget. I live in St Paul but willing to drive wherever. Bonus points if they will consign my old clothes and accessories efficiently.

Fashion Avenue has a store on 50th and France and in Wayzata. It’s higher end and designer. Lots of work clothes last time I was in at the Edina location. June is also on 50th/France but it seemed a bit more like dressy or going out clothes. Nu Look in Minneapolis has a rack of higher end labels. I’ve consigned at Nu Look a few times and I’ve sold quite a bit (they take baby/kids too!) but their lead times are crazy long.

I like Turn Style and consigned at the Richfield location, which was huge with lots of selection a few years ago. I can’t vouch for their stock more recently or for the SP location but might be worth a shot!
