Has anyone tried the Hikari 2023 Future "30K Lumen" LED on high/low beams?
I've had the Ultrafocus for a while. They look great, but they're kinda garbo for lighting things up. And it's not because the LEDs are bad, but that the halogen housings suck. Though a lot of these LEDs are not actually rated by the US NTSB. You're better off buying nicer halogens. Especially for your high beams. LEDs don't cut as well as silverstars. Or if you're feeling it, getting a whole LED light housing like the Sport Touring/SI/CTR. More on reddit.com

What’s the consensus on these? Seem pretty highly rated online and reviews seem positive from buyers on Amazon. I live where there are basically no street lights. Looking for something better than piss colored Halogens (but can be talked into 100w halogens if someone can tell me why I want them).
I have projector headlights and know how to aim them. So no, I will be blinding people. But I feel like even here in the ass end of nowhere at pitch black 12k lumens seems more than enough. Although they oddly make up go 30k lumens.

I think Hikari and Cree are made by the same company If so, I wouldn’t touch a Hikari brand bulb with a 10-foot pole I have no experience with Hikari, but I’ve owned several LEDs made by Cree, and their quality is awful. They never lasted. I started buying other brands like Feit, Phillips, etc. All were superior to Cree

I was frustrated with myself that I spent $200 more for the same output. Sigh. I went for a drive, and I will say the beam pattern is more “full”, in that I didn’t notice such an intense hotspot dead ahead and there is more of a fuller beam. The LEDs were slightly offset whereas they are stacked in the Hikari, so I suspect that’s the cause.

February 12, 2022 - With any time you change the bulbs in the headlights you need to make sure to adjust them properly so they Can light up the road for you properly while not blinding oncoming traffic. I highly recommend these bulbs after installing them. Before installing the Auxito’s I don’t think they would be able to do better than the Hikari’s, but I was pleasantly surprised they did so much better. My dad wants to put led bulbs in his truck and Auxito’s are what we will be buying to put in his truck.

If you search there's threads on here about fooling the canbus system on these trucks. ... @genske15 I am an avid fan of hikari leds, I have been using them for 3+ years now I'd say lol, but I'm not sure if you have the canbus decoders as mentioned by krash, but if you don't this is what I use/recommend and should fix the problem if you aren't currently using a decoder.

I was checking the Hikari 2023 future LEDs to replace some old ones I have on my civic: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B1MGXR3D/ref=twister_B0B1MBFJP1?_encoding=UTF8&th=1 I currently have a 2018 EX-LT with the halogen projectors, but checking the specs of the LED bulbs they seem "rated to 65W", my concern is that both high and low beams on this car are rated to 60/55w respectively, thus being kind of a risk for the wiring harness, has anyone tried this bulbs or know if claimed wattage is real? (LEDs normally consume lower wattage than halogens)
Any advice?
Aside of that, I was thinking as an alternative the Acme-X: https://www.amazon.com/HIKARI-HyperStar-Wireless-Equivalent-Replacement/dp/B08S37X311?th=1 that seem to be rated at 32W
I'm also open to suggestions for other type of LEDs, thanks!

I've tested many different LED's in my halogen housings. The Katana LED's were decent, the DDM tuning Saber ProX 55W V2's are really bright but burned out after a year, the Hikari 2023 Future is really bright, along with the DDM tuning Pro 65W's I'm currently running. They all have a very nice beam pattern and accurate cutoff, but I've found the DDM tuning 65W to have the best beam accuracy. I also bought a lux meter for shits and giggles, and the DDM tuning 65W and Hikari Future both measured the highest. Neck and neck. Hope that helps.
