I’m a hockey fan, and a jersey collector and enthusiast, and I love to see the different designs, crests and customization that teams came up with for Reverse Retro. Earlier this year, I considered getting an iPad so I could draw some of my own designs. Unfortunately, I suck at drawing, so that wasn’t a great idea. I am pretty good at making apps though, so I decided instead to make a tool for people like me to create jerseys without having to draw anything.
Enter JerseyStudio. An app that lets you choose from a large collection of design elements: Stripes, patterns, fonts, templates and any colors you want — everything to make the perfect jersey. There’s a wide range of designs that can be made, from traditional ones to eccentric and truly hideous ones. For people like me, who can't draw, it’s a fantastic way to make pro-looking designs in a way we couldn’t do before. For those who are adept at designing already, I think it is still a useful tool for rapid prototyping, or putting together some designs when you’re away from a computer. Here is a video where I make a jersey in 25 seconds with JerseyStudio, which shows just how easy it is to use.
The app does not contain any team logos/trademarks due to copyright, but you can import any image from your photo library and here is a compilation of transparent PNG team logos that are suitable for jersey design.
I hope everyone enjoys the app, as I’ve put a lot more work into it than I originally planned to. Compatibility is limited to iPhone and iPad running iOS 15 or higher, as well as MacBooks with an M1 chip. I would love to bring it to android but I would first like to get feedback on the iOS version. 🙂
Give it a try if you can. Maybe you can improve your team's reverse retro design! And if you have comments or questions, please let me know.

Like many of you, I’m a hockey jersey collector and enthusiast and I love to see the different designs, crests and customization that teams are doing nowadays. Earlier this year, I considered getting an iPad with the stylus so I could draw some of my own designs. Unfortunately, I had to admit to myself that I suck at drawing, so shelling out the cash for an expensive tablet probably wasn’t a great idea. I am pretty good at making apps though, so I decided to make a tool for people like me to create jerseys without having to draw anything.

Any plans for a android version?
This is amazing. Just spent like 10 minutes making a design for a random NA3HL team, here it is. So easy to use, you did a great job with this! Only suggestion I have is to add the option to have laces under the collar as opposed to only having the 2 styles, unless laces are listed under another category. Regardless, what you’ve done is great and I can tell this is gonna make my screen time go up a lot. Nice job!
Lookin to mess around with logos and color schemes for a possible team and was curious as to what website has the best customization options. Don’t need anything too fancy, just want to be able to put on a decent logo and have an extensive color palette so I’m not limited to like 5 colors
I remember I saw a post on her previously where a custom jersey website had a customizer where you could select your colours and basic design as well as fonts and get basically real time mock ups.
Does anyone know what that site is or what sites can do that?
