Anyone know what’s going on in Hodgkins, IL? I’ve had one package stuck there since 4/4/23. Called UPS and they told me to reach out to the sender to file a claim.
Sender filed a claim and resent a new package a few days ago and now that one is also stuck in Hodgkins, IL!
Will it eventually make its way here or is it lost?
Curious if there is a known delay to packages being shipped out of Hodgkins, IL UPS carrier facility? I ordered a Cyberpower Gaming Desktop during early Black Friday deals week on Amazon on November 12th. Expected delivery to Spokane, WA was Wednesday December 1st. It’s now December 11th and the package has not moved since November 23rd when it arrived at the Hodgkins facility.
I’ve tried contacting UPS, Amazon, Cyberpower, etc. Best they’ll do is refund me the money, which I don’t want to do as the same computer to buy now is literally double the price. I’m just hoping the carrier facility is backed up due to the holidays and staff shortage and will still arrive in the coming weeks.
Any information about how I can get updates on my package or info about delays at Hodgkins would be great. I keep checking the tracking number provided, but like I said, it hasn’t moved since landing in Hodgkins on November 23rd.
I see that a lot of people have the same issue , i have a bigger one , my wedding is in 2 weeks in a diffeent country , i was supposed to get my parcel on friday and it's been stuck there for 4 days so far . My passport is in the parcel. it was scanned in hodgkins il and not moving since thursday . Anybody else got a solution ?
I Can not even start the claim since it says delivery date will be provided soon . IDK what to do , should i wait or forget it and go get emergency passport ?
Multiple packages from multiple vendors and even countries are all stuck at Hodgkins IL with no reason given other than "circumstances beyond our control." They are literally being scanned out then scanned back in to the same place. Its been over a week. Anyone know what in the world is going on?
Anyone have any info on this? Package was en route from Hodgekins, IL to Portland, OR.
I sent a product into a company for RMA. Earlier this week they gave me a UPS tracking number to follow the replacement. The package they sent out arrived at the Hodgkins facility (CACH) late on the 27th. Here it is the 30th (just past midnight), the tracking system still says the package is in Hodgkins (arrival scan), yet it's supposed to arrive today in Colorado. Is there some weather event I don't know about? Lost package? Tracking system being wonkey? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
CACH is a huge center for UPS. Most likely package was on a container and put on a train. They don’t usually show up on tracking. Since the trailers aren’t being scanned by UPS (showing arrival/departure scans from multiple centers) they are being transported on a major rail line.
I got a delay due to operating conditions notice on May 30 and no update since. What conditions are they even talking about?
So I recently ordered something and usually, it gets shipped from Maryland and it goes straight over to Texas. But suddenly it took an odd turn this Friday and it suddenly got shipped over to Hodgkin and so far has not shown any sign of moving from that facility.
All of the reviews that I have read so far state that the packages that hit this facility mysteriously vanish.
Is there anything further I can do to report this facility? I've already contacted the company I ordered the package from.
I sent a package out before the holiday, and I had a feeling it would get delayed for a bit due to that. But it’s been a bit and I’m still getting a delayed notice but there is no other information.
I’ve tried calling my origin UPS store but they don’t know what is going on and just say to file a claim.
This package is for my visa application for work so it’s very important and I’m worried my work will be delayed because of this so I don’t know what to do.
