Where to buy plastic Adirondack chairs?
First attempt at an Adirondack chair. Just regular pine from Home Depot. Going to stain it espresso.
Looks comfy!
I'm not saying it's illegal to stain it or anything, just be aware that dark stains on pine often come out looking streaky, splotchy and overall pretty nasty. I'd go with a subtle stain (something close to amber or honey) or paint it. You can stain pine a dark color, but it's not as easy as slopping on some minwax. If you really want to, at least hit it with some pre-stain conditioner first, or use a gel stain.

I am looking for recommendations for some good Adirondack chairs for a reasonable budget. I am not sure what the going rate is for a decent chair. I live near Best Fire, and theirs go for $500 a pop. The ones at Creative Custom Woodcraft in Hoosick Falls run $425 each. Adirondack Woodshed lists theirs starting at $320. Is there a another source you'd recommend?
I want to get four plastic Adirondack chairs for around my fireplace. Any recommendations as to where to buy from? I was considering Tops for $25/chair. Anyone have any experience that they would say was good/bad. Are the tops ones fine?
