You have 48hrs from time of delivery to report, damage, failure of unit, etc. You can return it for “Did not perform as expected” and you’ll receive a refund as well if you just end up not liking the unit. You can return an unopened unit within the 30 days, as the policy says, although not many people are aware of that. The return desk cashier may fight you on it or initially refuse the return due to negligence, not malice. If you want a 30 day policy for all of your units, you’ll need to apply for a Lowe’s credit card. Do not let them apply the 20% off up to $100 on this transaction you’ll end up losing money if the system makes a mistake and takes this discount over the current promo. Speaking of the promo, you’ll get $50 off for every $500 you spend. However, if you spend $5,000 you’ll get $1,000 off. Make sure to split your purchase into two separate tickets to maximize your savings as it caps at $1,000 per ticket. Of course, some units aren’t eligible. Don’t be afraid to shop around. For others reading, I am aware of the hate of big box stores and I’m with you there. But, for those who are seeking a deal Lowe’s will have better deals for sub $2,000 orders currently. Above $2,000, on certain items where applicable, Home Depot’s current promo will beat out Lowe’s until you hit that $5,000 mark, and Best Buy will have some similar but mostly higher (despite having a 5% higher overall discount on some items) prices in comparison, but they offer a $300 gift card with your purchase and another $100 off if you sign up for one of their memberships. Edit: I'm an idiot who doesn't even know his own company's promotions : ( Lowe's actually has a better promotion going on then home depot. After $2,000 when you get $200 off it jumps to $500 off at $2500. Each extra $500 you spend after that is another $100 you save. Stay away from Samsung Appliances. Had the stove, range and dishwasher. All have been replaced. Stick to the basics as much as you can. TVs in fridges are just stupid and waiting to break. More on reddit.com
