The 30% off if you spend over $10k on cabinets has been going on for over a year at Home Depot and lowes. Every time it “ends” it just starts back up again. We had the same sale 6 years ago too when we got cabinets into our old house. Their install prices aren’t bad though because if they do the install you don’t have to pay taxes on the cabinets, so it almost cancels itself out. You should have them quote you at least because it might be worth it. Last time we had Lowes do our install and they did so much better than the private guy we hired this time and they take care of going back and forth with Lowes for the damaged cabinets. They will also put on the handles included in the price as long as you have them at the time of install (at least they did before, not sure if it’s changed). September 10, 2022 - Another large issue is most of the time the designer from the big box stores don’t actually go out to measure the space, so things are missed or not conveyed from the person that’s paid to measure and who actually designs the kitchen. You will also find cabinets at a similar price point from smaller dealers that are of equal or better quality, I’ve heard kraftmaid is having a lot of issues right now. also the install will be reasonable from a smaller company, I think last I heard Home Depot was like $119-$129 per box for cabinet install, while most smaller dealers in my area are $60-$80 per box.

Yeah, I know most would stay away - but I had good experience with ordering cabinets and did my own installation in the past. This time, I'm just adding a few cabinets to an open wall: 2x 18x30, 1x 36x30 with glass door inserts, and 2x 18x12 and 1x 36x12 on top without glass inserts. Got a quote for under 3K for Kraftmaid but there was a sale going on, so want to see if these are ongoing or need to do this sooner than later. TIA.

The cabinet sales are usually almost every other month to get the sales then allow the company time to make them all. For the sale periods they usually last 3-4 weeks at a time. Also most discounts apply at different pricing tiers so a $3k order might get 20% off while a 5k+ gets you 30% off
