Homedepot Kitchen Cabinets

We have done 3 new build custom kitchens through Lowes. The custom cabinets from Lowes are built by American Woodmark. You have to get your design work done and then buy during one of the big sales that they have and leverage other discounts. We have been able to buy at 35-40% off of list for each project. I can't speak for Home Depot but during the couple of sales American Woodmark has per year is when you want to buy custom cabinets from Lowes(the cabinet design people know when those sales are and will tell you). I would imagine HD has a similar scenario. Lowes builds and delivers, then my trim guy installs them. The only negative is unboxing and checking for any damage within a specific window if your build is not ready for them. We use that opportunity to stage them and build a "key" of what cabinet goes where from my wifes design. Good luck with your build More on reddit.com

Home Depot kitchen installation: how accurate are quotes and how good is work?

Home Depot has a process that allows a contractor to be an “approved” service provider: https://www.homedepot.com/services/c/partnership-overview/1dcd27833 It is not hard to get on the list. My experience is that just about any company (no matter how big or small) can get approved No Home Depot employee will inspect the remodel, and unfortunately disputes are not uncommon. And HD is not known for mediating these cases: https://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/can-i-sue-home-depot-for-an-unfinished-repair-to-a-2968227.html I personally have had great experiences with my local approved providers.
