You might find that if you start a credit account there you get better discounts, like %15 off if you spend over $500 or something like that. You should check with the store and see what they offer. Did you check with Lowe's too? More on reddit.com

Okay so first of. Appliances are NON-RETUNABLE as they are special order. Only in rare and extreme case will they be returned to the store, but in most case if not all it would have to go to the store that they were bought from with a 15% restocking fee. A store that didn't sale the appliance is under no real obligation to refund or do a 30 day price guarantee. As that store didn't receive credit for the sale but the refund would be coming from them and then they would have to markdown the appliances and sell them at a steep discount. So the answer is it up to the managers discretion. I can tell at my store the managers would not give a discount and a partial refund for that amount. Next time I would recommend researching online to see when the biggest sale are to avoid the headache it's no secret that the 4th of July sale has some of the steepest discount on appliances.
