We have decided to paint our living room, and went to Home Depot to look at sample paint cards. We picked sample paint cards we thought would look well, and then we used the "See This In My Room" feature on the website and did not like how the paint looked in our living room. We found new colors that looked good in the in the "See This In My Room" feature. How accurate are the paint colors in real life compared to how it looks in a room when using the "See This In My Room" feature?

Im reading online, and have chatted with an HD associate that home depot has or had an app that allows you to take a picture of your walls and it can color match the paint.

I am on Android and the app should be called HD Project color? Ive seen it in articles with the HD completely spelled out as well.

As of today it does not come up in Google Play, for me. Ive tried using a browser where the article leaves the Play Store link so you just have to click, it says item not found in the Play Store after it redirects me.

I have the Home Depot App, but when navigating I didn't find a page or feature where you are taking pictures and matching paint.

Can anyone find that app on the Play Store? Or does anyone know if that feature is now in the Home Depot app? Or does it have a different name?

I would really love to utilize this and dont really have any paint chips i can bring in.
