My local HD has had the same stock levels of 2 specific patio sets for months (the in store inventory hasn’t changed much at all) with “clearance” tags on them, but in reality they just printed colored price sheets and stuck them on there as the sets have been the same price all year (my wife has had her eye on them for a while). I am in at least twice a week so I always check, and no price movement yet. I went in tonight and went to customer service and asked who I could talk to about a better price on the floor sets that have been in there all year. He was nice and said the MOD should be able to do that no problem… He calls them, has about a 30 sec conversation on the phone, then says he was told they can’t do any better on anything(never asked which ones I was looking at).
Is this normal/standard? Am I wasting my time waiting for a better price?
Both sets are made by Polywood if that matters. Grant Park White 3 piece & Grant Park 5 piece dining set.
Hi All...first post here...
Wondering where y'all go in the Houston area to buy patio furniture...besides Lowes and Home Depot.
Thanks for your input...
I’m looking for inexpensive patio dining set.
I’ve tried FB marketplace but nothing really is speaking to me. I looked at Menards but I’m a little skeptical of the metal sets that are cheap and if they’d rust right away.
I remember as a kid my parents had plastic dining sets that lasted quite a while and weren’t super expensive, but I can’t even seem to find that online. I’m only looking for a four person table chair set (sold separately is fine) but all for under $200.
Is this even possible in todays world? Where should I go?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
