FYI On Home Depot Scheduled Delivery vs Delivery
Home Depot is NOT an On Line Store Beware
Are online orders still shipping?
Online orders rely on FedEx, UPS, USPS, Canadian Postal service to deliver packages. You are looking at delays because everyone is affected by Covid-19 quarantines and restrictions. Good luck getting it any faster than what they are warning you about. Does not matter who you order from. It may get delayed.

I recently placed a packout order and had the options for "Delivery" and "Scheduled Delivery".
I wasn't sure what was the difference (except one item I could get the next day with "Scheduled" but several days later for the "Delivery" option).
I did some research and wanted to share my experience in case anyone else was curious:
Scheduled Delivery
According to another post on Reddit, the "Scheduled Delivery" is delivered to the store then delivered to you. More hands touch it so greater chance of damage or the item going missing.
The two times I did Scheduled Delivery both were delivered with no box and left on my front porch. One item was a bag of casters, the recent item was a 3 drawer packout box.
The items appear to be delivered from a 3rd party (but not FedEx or UPS). It was a guy in a work van/truck - but could be working directly for Home Depot?
I get a flurry of texts letting me know when the package is on the way and when it was delivered. At first I thought it was spam.
Seems to be free once you reach a certain threshold ($45??...not sure).
Deliveries are usually faster than regular "Delivery" when ordering items on the same day or even if they are both to be delivered on the same day.
Gives options for delivery time (some at a cost).
Allows you to require a signature (haven't tried this yet).
Item will come with a big yellow sticker with your last name on it (came off easy on the packout).
Delivery
Typically, these items are delivered from UPS (perhaps FedEx in some cases).
They USUALLY come in a Home Depot box, with the item in it's own packaging inside (better protection).
Not as many notifications but typically notifies when it has been delivered.
This option has been free for the majority of my orders (I think large items may not qualify).
I have had good luck with both options, but wanted to share my experiences as some points may matter to people.
Also, please jump in if your experience has been different or have more info.
I recently bought a KitchenAId from The Home Depot. The mistake was buying it online. A warning to this community. While The Home Depot is a GREAT Bricks and Mortar shop, with great people in the Stores and service - on-line is a whole other company. They have NO process or ability to service and support online customers. I am on my second failed delivery of this Dishwasher and as the customer, you have to make all the phone calls. They make NO proactive calls to you as a customer to support. If you need a supervisor, which I tried , I gave up after being on hold for 36 mins. If you need to buy online, Home Depot is not for you
