Buy new Whirlpool dryer from Home Depot, broken within a week, HD passed over to WP, been waiting for 3 weeks
Best washer (top load) and dryer that I can buy at home depot?
LG or whirlpool?? Home depot or best buy ?
Help with whirlpool dryer…. Bought the floor model from Home Depot. This is currently a 3 prong 120v cord (no idea why). As you can see there’s no terminal block and the red wire isn’t even connected to it. To connect the 4 prong wire, is it possible to use the thicker red wire?
Remove that cord and throw it away. Believe it or not... they don't run dozens of 30 amp 240 VAC branch circuits out to the showroom floor of an appliance dealership. Floor models are setup in demo mode with only 120 VAC to allow the sales associates to demonstrate the flashing bright lights and musical chimes and shit. You need to pull the model number from the invoice or the equipment tag and then download the installer manual for that model. Then you buy a 240 VAC dryer cord that matches your outlet on your wall. Then follow the installation instructions for how to install that cord into that dryer. And you'll also need to figure out how to get it out of demo mode. Since it is new and purchased from an authorized dealer Whirlpool should be happy to assist you with this.
