How do you optimize seating in your home theatre?

I could use advice on how to arrange the seating in a rectangular media room
Home Theatre Layout. Any advice would help. Room is 20ft x 12ft. All couches recline but don't have to. Layout 3 and 4 the 65" tv is fairly far away from the furthest couch so that could be a problem. Layout 3 and 4 I would build a platform to raise the couches.

I'm buying a house under construction in Texas and it includes a dedicated windowless "media room" upstairs. I'm not a huge movie buff and plan to use the room to watch sports more than anything else.
The room is 15.5 x 11 feet. There are double doors in the middle of one "long" side to enter the room from the game room/loft landing on the second floor. Diagram here: https://imgur.com/BQCdLgq
My initial thought was to put a put a 77 - 85 inch TV on the wall on the "short" (11 foot side). Then I'd put a sofa or a row of 2-3 of those 'theater seats' about 9-10 feet back facing the screen.
The problem I'm running into is that this configuration leaves very limited width for the seating area. 11 feet = 132 inches and if I want to leave a couple of feet for clearance on either side of the sofa/ seating then I'm sort of limited to a small sofa or only two of the big reclining seats with cupholders. Unless I went with risers for tiered seating, the seating might have to be limited.
Is there an argument for setting this up with the screen on the "long" 15.5 foot wall wall so the seating area could then be wider and fit more seats but would have to be closer to the screen? This would put the back of the sofa just inside the double door entry, but then I'd have room for a larger sofa or bank of 3 big theater seats, with swivel chair on one or both sides.
Any thoughts appreciated.
