What are some homemade food items that can be given as Christmas gifts?
Anyone have any go-to things they like to make to give as gifts? Trying to find a way to save a little this year and put in some time/effort/love to make something instead, but I need ideas for tasty/impressive things to put in a gift basket.
Candied and Crystalised ginger, fruits like lemons and orange peel cherries. Might be a bit late now but make Your own lemon cello bottle it up in smaller bottle to put in. Make your own mince pies.

For the past few years I've tried to save money by making gift baskets of homemade food items. It's fun to spend a couple of weeks mass producing different treats, and it feels more meaningful that I've made everything by hand. Here are some of the things I've made in the past: little jars of Dulce de Leche, cherries soaked in maraschino liquor, limoncello, beef jerky, candied pecans, bottles of balsamic reduction, and "Old Fashioned/Manhattan kits" (not homemade, but it fit with the theme).
I'm running a bit low on inspiration for this year. Does anyone have ideas for food that can be made in bulk?
