This morning I live chatted with their customer service about an order from Black Friday that had yet to ship. They gave me an extra 25% off my order and said that they would pay for faster shipping than usual.

Counter point:If you need it and they didn't deliver on time definitely do. Honestly, for me, they were all Christmas gifts so I'm in no rush. I wouldn't want them to unnecessarily pay for overnight shipping. They're already struggling as is. These expenses either get rolled into prices driving them higher or co them to go underwater. all my purchases were at great discounts already so their margins were thin and I wouldn't want to unnecessarily burden them

Their website notes a $7.50 return fee. That is the price for orders in the US.
The portion of the website that deals with Canadian orders does not disclose that there is a $30 return fee.
Just thought this warning should be sent out before unsuspecting Canadians try and partake in their Black Friday Event sales.
... I'm not bitter.
Edit: I should also note that you cannot return in person to any Jcrew Factory Outlets.

Yeah, JCrew's website's Canada shipping has always seemed to dicey for me. Sites where their Canada plan is "Our US site ships to Canada but it's on you to figure out how much that costs and how returns work" have always been a hell no for me. You only need to get dinged by brokerage fees once to learn that lesson. I've just basically been coasting on my old clothes since the start of the pandemic, because there's no way I'm going into a store and trying things on. Nothing new for me but a few Van Heusen shirts I just bought from Amazon. If JCrew et al want my business, they need a proper Canadian web storefront with Canadian shipping. Hell, ship from their brick-and-mortar stores.
