What movie similar like The Medium (2021) ?
I'm Thai and this movie was just ok for me too. I like many parts except the last part that cameramans did many dumb things. For similar movie, I suggest Noroi (2005). It's much better than Medium . Also Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018). More on reddit.com

The 21 Best Horror Movies of 2021 — Terror in Tartan! A Horror Blog
January 28, 2024 - It takes real talent to start your movie with a woman doing something, shall we say, unusual involving a car and have your audience all but forget about it by the midway point, but Julia Ducournau manages it in her body horror-heavy sophomore feature. The powerful human story between two incredibly flawed people somehow eclipses all the bizarre sex and violence in Titane, making the ending that the film has inevitably been building toward somehow surprising. ... When I asked myself what movie I talked and thought about the most in 2021, the answer was undoubtedly Censor.

The Top Five Horror Films of 2021 (* According to Metacritic, According to Me)
January 19, 2022 - Horror has traditionally (and unfairly) had trouble getting much respect from critics, but there’s usually one or two films we rally behind — like The Babadook, Hereditary, or The Witch, to name the three examples of “elevated” horror cited by the teenager at the beginning of the new Scream movie. Genre fans, myself included, tend to bristle at the term “elevated,” mainly because it implies that horror is inherently low cinema that must be redeemed from the ugly business of simply scaring an audience. So I looked at Metacritic's five top-rated horror films of 2021.

April 20, 2022 - He knows how to keep casual moviegoers on the edge of their seats, but he also avoids dumbing things down. That latter statement is especially true when it comes to his latest film. Malignant, especially in its opening hours, feels like a run-of-the-mill horror movie, complete with jump scares and an accessible central mystery.

Best Horror Movies of 2021, Ranked: New Scary Movies to Watch Now - Thrillist
January 28, 2022 - Release date: September 17 Cast: Nicolas Cage, Sofia Boutella, Nick Cassavetes Writers: Aaron Hendry, Reza Sixo Safai Director: Sion Sono (Cold Fish) Why it's good: Nicolas Cage leads an eclectic international ensemble in an equally bizarre casserole of sci-fi, western, horror, and dark comedy. Here, Cage is tasked with venturing into a violent netherworld in an effort to rescue an insane kingpin's granddaughter. This movie, which screened at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, might be 10% too gonzo for most mainstream viewers, but those who appreciate Cage's brand of genre insanity will find much to like here.
