I really want to get into horror movies but I tend to get scared pretty easy and I am looking for some suggestions for good beginner horror movies to get me started on a path to building up a hard skin! I have no problem with psychological thrillers, but things like jump scares, creepy/disturbing imagery, creepy supernatural stuff is what really freaks me out right now. Some movies that I have seen and enjoyed are Get Out, American Psycho, The Invisible Man, Silence of the Lambs, The Shining, Split. Thanks in advance for any recs and please let me know if this isn't the appropriate place to post this!!

Trick R Treat: (Very mild but an awesome story in it's entirety. A bunch of good jump scares here and there) Creepshow 1 & 2: (A movie with 3-4 short horror stories in them. A few stories are a little campy but man the good ones stick!) Cursed: (An underrated Werewolf flick from the 2000s! You'll see some recognizable faces in this one! The CGI, while not extraordinary, is very good for it's time!) Paranormal Activity: (The found footage horror movie about a demonic presence driving a couple to extremes!) Pumpkinhead: (A movie about a vengeance seeking monster summoned to do the bidding of a man who lost his son in tragedy. I Love the Special Effects for this movie!)
