Why would you need to lock a hospital bed remote?
Locking the remote prevents unintended bed movements or configuration changes, which is crucial for patient safety, especially in critical care settings.
How do you lock a hospital bed remote?
Typically, there is a lock button on the remote. Pressing and holding this button for a few seconds can lock or unlock the remote’s functions.
What do you do if the hospital bed remote won't unlock?
Check for any visible issues like battery depletion or damage. If it still doesn’t work, notify hospital maintenance or nursing staff for assistance.

This is the remote, I don't know if it's possible to fix it. I'm a new guy and the previous guys told me they just tossed the thing into the garbage and just left the bed in one position without remote and I don't think the hospital would let something like that keep happening.
Anyways if any of you guys have any idea on the matter, please let me know.
Thank you
Hi there
I have to use an hospital bed and unfortunately the remote control doesn't work anymore. I'm planning to buy a new one, but it is quite difficult to find which one is appropriate.
I'm sure that it is a wire problem, because when I hold tight the cable in a certain point it works.
I was thinking that I can change the wire, if a new remote control is too difficult to find. Here are some pictures with the remote control.
Can you help me with the naming in order to find the necessary parts to build a new wire? The white rectangular contact is 2.5cm/1inch wide.
