How much does Hostinger cost?
Do you pay monthly for Hostinger?
Is Hostinger Premium worth it?
Hey! Hostinger’s pricing can seem like a steal at first glance, but knowing the full picture helps users choose wisely. Plans start low – think $2.99/mo for Premium Shared Hosting on a 48-month term – but renewal rates shift things up. After the initial term, that same plan jumps to $7.99/mo. Not a bad deal compared to the industry standard, though!
Longer commitments (like 4 years) keep the savings rolling, while monthly billing offers flexibility – at a cost. For example, one month of Premium WordPress Hosting at $11.99 comes with a $4.99 setup fee. No surprises there, just a trade-off to consider.
What about extras? Domains are free for the first year, then renewed at $16.99/yr for .com. Add-ons like extra email hosting (from $0.59/mo per mailbox) are optional and clearly listed at checkout – no hidden fees, just choices to tailor the plan.
Hostinger keeps it affordable and transparent for budget-savvy users. Planning ahead is key to maximizing value. Any pro tips from the sub for keeping costs in check long-term?
Hi, I just started using Hostinger services, especially purchasing domain and web hosting with their Premium web hosting plan. I read a lot of complaing on their renewal prices are very huge compared to initial purchase, i have histed almost 4 websites currently. And charged them very low amount. Will this make headache for me when renew the plan?
When I first purchased my Premium Webhosting, the renewal price was €5.99. Four years later, the renewal price is now €9.99. Which rate applies when extending an active plan —the one in effect when I signed the contract or the current renewal price?
Update 08-15-25: It's 9.99, opposed to what is promoted when buying the hosting plan. So better don't rely on the extension rates, it probably changes over your renewal period...
Hosting seems to be a hive of scum and villainy, where every company engages in scammy tactics like offering you a super low annual rate when you sign up, but once your initial year (or three) is up, you cannot get that same discounted rate again.
If there's no one out there that isn't a villain, then who offers the most affordable renewal rate? This is for a very simple personal HTML web site on my own domain. My current provider wants $60 to renew for one year, I'd love to be able to pay less.
ETA: Budget: $5 per month or less. Location: USA. Site: simple static HTML. Traffic: negligible.
Hi,
I currently host my website with another provider, and I would love to reduce my cost, because I want a second website.
The discount offered for Black Friday is very interesting, but the renewal price isn't really that great. As a Canadian, after conversion, the renewal is priced higher than what I currently pay for my current hosting.
So for 4 years I would pay less than what I currently pay, and then after that I would pay higher price.
What should I do?
Thank you.
I have been using hostinger for almost four years now and I am happy with their services. The gui, ftp access, email, support, it all worked flawlessly. Their options and the best..lots of TLDs, Database access, .. love it!. It beats all competition when it comes to options. But my website is not a shop. It's a charity to help sick and damaged crows so it is not very popular. I don't ask for donations, so all the costs are just a loss for me. The renewal prices are a lot higher than the package price I got four years ago. Does anyone know if you get a good deal automatically when you didn't renew the plan? Ps. To be honest I only get like 15 visitors a day or so, so I am thinking of hosting it myself at home. But.. hostinger is so much easier...
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at different hosting providers, Hostinger being one of them, and I can't make sense of what I see on this picture:
Does it mean :
-
That the plan is 93.60$ for 4 years, including 15 months of free domain registration? If so, does that mean that after the initial 15 months I will have to add my domain registration to the hosting subscription?
-
Does this mean that after the first 15 months, an additionnal annual fee of 15$ (cost of my registration) will be added to the plan?
-
-
That the price of of 93.60$ includes everything: hosting, 15 months of free domain registration, and the remaining 33 months of domain registration?
I'm sure I'm not the only one scratching their head at this, so thank you for any insight you may provide!
After 2 years i must renew my plan. Unfortunately, I don't get the same discount as when I registered. Is it somehow still possible?
just seen this reddit post about getting Hostinger discount and thought i'd share this
i'm looking to signup long term for like 2-3 years with a discount but want to know your opnions if this worth it or not?
