I love the green and the shape of the skirt, but those lingerie/bustier style tops almost never fit correctly on a real person - and most of them, like this one, are just way too revealing for a wedding guest dress even if they do fit correctly (and ESPECIALLY if they don't). Also, since the post flair on this one is "formal", this is a no anyway - top style aside, this isn't a formal dress.

Id not do it for a super church-y wedding or a wedding with coworkers/boss personally bc it shows a LOT of boob. *I have this dress in three colors I wear it for dates with my BF or going out to eat with friends. I wore my navy one to a work dinner for my BF’s company and realized after arriving just how much boob was on display 😅 so I kept on my coat over my shoulders. It’s all relative! Nothing wrong with boobs showing if you’re cool with that! These dresses are gorgeous and I hope we get more colors.

For context I am a guest at a cousin in laws wedding. I had my second baby last year so am about a size 12 with now have lower smaller voovs. I absolutely love this dress but is so expensive. Is it worth it? Am I crazy and if not does anyone know how To find it cheaper?

I’ve yet to buy a single dress from house of CB that I have regretted. However, I really only wear dresses and usually only ones I consider “classic” in shape and pattern so I’ll wear it year over year. Given that I expect to have the dress for years and get plenty of wear out of it- I tend to spend $100-$300 on each one on average. I only say this because I have seen complaints that “for $XXX” they’d expect better quality. In my opinion for this price range house of CBs quality is actually really really great and worth the money. I’d hate to say a dress is an investment, because you’re never getting that money back, but I do think they warrant their price. I say buy it! This specific collection with this pattern is so cute I doubt they will make it to any “sale” prices. I’m still trying to narrow down which ones I want before they’re all gone.
