Just finished talking to them. $12k upfront and $24k paid over the course of 2-3years. The $24k isn’t paid unless you get a job making at least $81k or more. If you get fired the payments get paused. Time to compete their training is 4-6months. Self-taught, but they offer live teaching sessions mon-fri. They do assessments every 2wks to see if the student is absorbing the info being taught. After completing their training they said candidates usually get employed within 5-6months. They also offer interview prep and market you for up to a year or maybe two, don’t remember exactly, if you need it. Sounded scammy, but it’s a real business that was established in 2010 from what is available online about them. They did have a complaint that was resolved per the BBBs website. Link to info: https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/fremont/profile/tech-support/synergisticit-1116-894990 I’ve did about 400 - 600 applications since May without any offers - barely any interviews. A few initial interviews that didn’t produce anything, so I’ve been considering them myself. Thought about using ProJobHunter.com too before doing SynergisticIT 😞

Hello I represent synergisticit Please see the below links to know more about Synergisticit and some useful tips https://www.synergisticit.com/candidate-outcomes/ https://synergisticit.wistia.com/medias/o5gmv7i9eu https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJgkOBQ51j5AHT5I6n29glr0q6trzkxYD https://synergisticit.wistia.com/medias/k6t6a1n4kb If you meet some conditions we can absolutely ensure that you will get hired for a tech job. If you came to us have a 3.2 gpa or higher you have bs in cs and have done some programming in Java or c++ , python and have average or average + communication skills . (having a us citizenship or pr or some long term visa( not h1b) is a big advantage ) OPT- F1 students would have a tougher time if they come late and can spend like 6+ months on upskilling yourself 5 days a week, you clear the certifications and assessments and project work we give you then we can guarantee that you will secure a job offer. And you will get A job offer north of $90k. If it does not happen you can always come back to this forum and tell that we are a liar and cheat and make fake promises and better still we will publicly apologize and accept it. You can even make a fresh post and copy this message for valid proof. We have been doing this since 2010 and if someone follows the process you will be better than 75% of other Jobseekers and you will guaranteed secure a job unless someone has an abrasive personality . It will 100% happen . When the market demands x and you give them X + y+ z you create value which all clients will accept. The real reason people don’t get job offers is due to lack of technical skills/ the depth of their knowledge and not knowing where to apply /applying inconsistently, not evaluating their competitors and not preparing enough for interviews / not knowing what to say in interviews as well as lack of project work. On top of it the cumulative data of previous interview questions over 14 years helps. The more data someone has the better understanding they have about market. Anyone can teach or learn from online or bootcamps- the only thing which matters is if the process leads to a job offer . At any given point of time we have new data flowing in as at least 25 of our candidates are actively interviewing and we keep evolving in real time as per the market that’s why our people get job offers. Your school just teaches basics whereas the tech companies want someone who can contribute from day one and skills which most grads don’t have and if they have they are very superficial and sk the surface . This can be disputed, can be downvoted however this is the only reason why some people get offers and some don’t . Give clients what they need and you will have an offer. The issue is most bootcamps/ and Their analysis is based off of job postings which gives inaccurate and flawed data . This is where experience counts. The fundamentals don’t change be it 2021 or 2025 and beyond .

I know that these staffing/training services aren't ideal, but its something I have to consider. It almost sounds too good to be true. They say you will be guaranteed a 90k+ salary job after you finish 3-5 months of training with them. You pay in total $25,000.... 10k up front.... 15k later in however many payments. I understand some other companies do this kind of service, but paying for something up front is what scares me. Is this legitimate, can anyone vouch for SynergisticIT?

Im an F1 visa student graduating in May 2021 and have been applying to different companies for OPT opportunities at the moment. Recently I've been receiving job positions emails from firms called Net2Source, e-Solutions Inc, SynergisticIT. They are all from recruiters that has Indian names, has presence on Glassdoor/LinkedIn and the companies has US address. While the positions is usually somewhat relevant of my resume, theres always some sort of proofing error on the email, plus their website seems a bit cookie cutter looking, with Net2Source site triggering malware warning. Anyone has experience with these firms and can let me know are they legit and should I get in touch with them?

I’ve interacted with all these 3 companies & many others when I was on OPT & searching for jobs after graduation in 2019. If you’re comparing Net2Source, e-Solutions to SynergisticIT it is like comparing oranges to apples. Net2Source & e-Solutions are consulting companies which get you contract jobs mostly with Indian IT implementers like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant & Wipro. SynergisticIT, on the other hand, is a kind of a mix of both bootcamp & a staffing firm, but it is different as it does not employ people on contracts & only does direct placement with clients after it has upskilled them. If you are an OPT student stay away from any consulting companies because: While working on the OPT status, you need to get your H1-B approved, and for that, you need to comply with new H1-B visa rules. As per the rules, now, you need to make higher wages to get an H1-B visa. So, let’s say if you were making $70,000 earlier on entry-level, now you have to secure a job that pays you at least $94,000. When working through a third-party or staffing company, both your employer & the client have to file your LCA. Also, the authority will closely supervise your relationship with your employer if you are working indirectly through a staffing company. If a staffing company place you at a good salary, suppose $120,000; the company will file your H1-B & get it approved by the client company, the duration of your H1-B will remain 1 year in this case. But if you are directly working at an organization, your H1-B duration will be 3 years. If you are skeptical about the jobs offered by SynergisticIT, Net2Source or e-Solutions, you must check their reviews, client base, credibility, years of experience in the business, & number of candidates they have placed till date. To know if the jobs are legit, do your due diligence, connect to their candidates & learn about their experience. Also verify that emails were sent by SynergisticIT, Net2Source or e-Solutions & not by any scammers. I know that SynergisticIT has been in business since 2010 and Net2Source and e-Solutions have also been for many years. Difference is SynergisticIT does upskilling and then places you at direct clients whereas Net2Source and e-Solutions are mostly staffing firms which work with Indian implementers like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, etc. So, if you are looking for direct jobs with direct clients without layers and you are okay spending $$$$$ or signing an ISA with SynergisticIT go with them otherwise if you just want to get any job without concern for H-1B or without spending $$$$$ then go Net2Source or e-Solutions. What I did myself was not go with a consulting company as they are evil as per me and I could not lie on my resume or not be sure of what my future would look like.

Hey guys,

I have a degree in computer science and I've been programming since I was in high school, but the last 6 years I've been working in a different field, and do not feel very confident about working as a programmer in industry. I got an email the other day from this place called SyngergisticIT https://www.synergisticit.com/ and it looked like the right thing for me. They offer training and job placement help. However it is quite expensive. I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion about this place, or knows of a similar service that isn't so expensive. Also, any advice in general would be appreciated.

Thanks!

r/csMajors on Reddit: SynergisticIT Question
September 29, 2023 -

I'm a senior graduating this December, and I am not very good at all at CS. I love it but I suck at it. I haven't gotten any internships or done any big personal projects, but I have a broad exposure to a lot of different stacks and DBs and what not like a bit of react, SQL, etc. and some good projects on my resume but they are all school projects. Whenever I have been able to get internship interviews in the past, I always forget the terminology or vocabulary or whatever for the one particular thing they ask me about. I haven't made it to an OA or coding interview yet, but I always get dropped after the second stage when the first stage is the social/behavioral, and the second stage is talking with a CS person and them asking me quiz questions about theory and stuff like that.

In the current market the way it is, I don't really stand a chance at competing against the billions and billions and billions of boys & girls & men & women who are far better and more powerful than me. So I am considering giving all my money to one of the scam systems like SynergisticIT and those kinds of things.

I'm wondering, are there any statistics available on the number of people who went through with SynergisticIT and completed the program, but were still never able to get a job? I know the way it's set up they are incentivized to get me a job since when they do I'll have to pay them the rest of the money, but since I pay them upfront it also seems like they are also at least incentivized to take the initial payment, put me through the training, and then not end up getting me a job.

So im wondering if there is any data out there available on this

As far as I know, Synergisticit has software programming with Java and full stack and the data science program. I did my research, and it appears they have higher success with their software programming program. I read reviews connected with LinkedIn and searched through posts to reach a conclusion. A scam or not depends on how one looks at Synergisticit. They exist as there is demand for such programs, and people see value and pay 10000. They spammed my emails so much that I once sent them an abusive email. Good, they don't remember that. Evil may be, however, lesser evil as compared to what else is out there. I myself had gone to an MIT online bootcamp and paid $1500. The problem is most bootcamps, which are self-paced, don't work, and I ended up losing 1500. Then there are firms like revature fdm, which are even worse by locking you into 2-year contracts and teaching you superficially. I guess there are no jobs for fresh bachelor's and master's graduates anymore with this stinking economy. The only option is going with an instructor-led program that promises to train and interface you with clients for interviews - pay through your nose and burn holes in your pockets with the hope that it leads to finally getting you a job. I am about to join them soon after evaluating all options and will update after 9-10 months. That is the time frame I think it takes to complete and get a job through them. 9 months is needed for a baby to be born, so maybe this has something to do with my new life.

Not really asking for advice or info about them just thought this was funny. So I applied to them like a month ago, I think I used easy apply, without looking them up and realizing it's not a real job and they're trying recruit people to for a bootcamp or to take courses. I've received a couple of emails from them asking me to take courses with them and such but I haven't responded once I realized there's no job available. The most recent the person basically shit talked my resume (in a nice way) and telling me I need to take their course to be able to find work. Honestly he wasn't wrong about my resume, so at least I got some free advice from him but no way am I paying for whatever they're offering.

I am a fresh grad that is struggling to get a job. I applied to 100+ jobs with 2 interviews and both rejected. I recently got contacted by Synergistic IT. It seems like they are a boot camp + staffing firm and their program sounds a bit too good to be true. They train you for 5 months then get you Java and AWS certificates and guarantee you a job at a salary from 80k to 120k. The only downside is that I have to pay 10k upfront and 15k after they get me a job. This all seems a bit too good to be true and I am not sure if I am being scammed or not. Can anyone that has done their training or know anything about them tell me what their honest reviews of them are? I would really appreciate any input, thank you so much.

I read the Google reviews and it seems like they are a coding bootcamp company making fake job listing to get more customers. They also insult their applicants by saying they are only offering them the bootcamp instead of a job because applicant is unqualified.

The person replying to these reviews responses is super unprofessional and sounds like someone out of Hotel Hell. You peeps should check out the google reviews yourself. It will be a very fun read.

April 4, 2025 -

I was just contacted by an employee (I assume) from synergistic IT, a company I applied to work in. However, they contacted me via message and only asked for my resume, as well as stating that they will contact me on another day. I was given some scam jobs recently because my data was probably leaked, so I’m a bit distrustful, so I searched anything about the person contacting me as they used a @synergisticit email, but the searches only came up with their profile on LinkedIn and her association with the company, and it showed that she was “actively looking for jobs”. I could not find any other information of them working for said company, so it’s making me wary. But at this point, I want to hold onto any string I can in search for a job.

So long story short, does this seem like another scam? Should I accept their contact or should I avoid it? Is there anyone who has experienced being contacted by Synergestic IT before (truly contacted and maybe even worked for them) and can tell me if this is legit or not? If it’s legit, what should I prepare for?

Thank you.

you’re right to be skeptical—Synergistic IT has a very mixed rep they’re not your average scam they’re more like a “gray area” grind mill they offer training + placement but often push you to pay $$$ or sign contracts many report bait-and-switch tactics: job listings that lead to unpaid training or contract work others say they never even get placed after months of waiting some legit placements do happen—but it’s not guaranteed and often exploitative that “recruiter” being “open to work” on LinkedIn? red flag they’re probably not a recruiter in the traditional sense—just someone roped into sourcing leads so: dont send personal info beyond your resume don’t agree to anything verbal—ask for everything in writing ask directly if you’ll be charged or locked into any contract trust your gut—if it feels off, it is you’re not crazy you’re just seeing the cracks that most ignore until it’s too late The NoFluffWisdom Newsletter has some sharp takes on self-awareness and practical life moves that could keep you ahead of traps like this—worth a peek!

Yeah, when I first heard about them and them asking $10k, I was shocked out of my skin. I could not afford it as I had some student loans and other stuff. SynergisticIT is mostly for rich kids who have their parents funding their education, not for people like me who have to work 2 jobs to support themselves. I did speak to them, however, and I told them I would pay them later; but they said they had to ensure that $10k was paid so that they only get serious candidates in. I asked for financing and was told they are coming up with something soon. Also, I was told about other similar bootcamps by my friends, and I did my own research; however, I was told their results sucked. SynergisticIT results were pretty great compared to anyone in the industry. Like they had a minimum 75000 salary threshold before you start repaying the balance fees, which is unheard of in the industry as most schools ask you to pay as soon as you start making 45-50k. Also, they will still take 40-50k from you in total with not very great results. To their credit, they told me that it's not necessary to go their route or join them if I had a financial crunch and took time to speak to me and guide me and said I could use Coursera and Udemy to get similar knowledge; however, it might take time. Some of my friend of friends have gone through their program and swear by it cuz it made them get 5 figure jobs being just fresh graduates. I guess the difference is that they have been around for like a decade or longer, have a brand name that helps their candidates get jobs easily, and they actually support candidates to get jobs and not just give training alone. It's been almost 9 months since I last spoke to them. I am still enrolled in courses in Coursera and udemy etc. but have fallen behind schedule. I guess the main takeaway from this is that if you are disciplined, then you can gain knowledge on your own. In my scenario, I did enroll in courses; however, friends, distractions, and lack of discipline prevented me from getting the tech skills that I needed to get a good job in tech. If you lack discipline and need structure, they could work out well for you; however, only if you have the $$$$$ as they are not for the low-on-cash people like me. Hopefully, I will be able to save enough to join them, or maybe if I get disciplined, I'll be able to do things myself through online platforms. Wish me luck!

r/cscareerquestions on Reddit: Experience with Staffing firms? Experience with Revature, synergisticit, FDM group, Graduate looking for a job.
January 26, 2019 -

So i was looking at some old threads about FDM group , Synergisticit and Revature . I like other people have been contacted by them and wanted feedback on them.

I did my own research on each of them and contact alumni of some of them. Can anyone give additional feedback.

Points i took into consideration:

  1. years in business—Revature 2003, Synergisticit 2009, FDM group 1991—so all companies have been around for some time

  2. business model—

a) Revature—Free training and group accomodation and stipend around 8-10$/hr for training for 6-12 weeks on a mixed topics from java, javascript, c#.net and others (Total money paid $4800 for 12 weeks) but 2 year contract and pays 55-60k with their own clients and makes you bind to a 2 year contract to stay with Revature or pay 25000$ for early termination

b) Synergisticit—Paid training and mix of bootcamp and regular training. Training duration the longest amongst all- 5 months , 5 days a week. Their training cost is confusing but from what I understood total cost is 25k ..10k before start of training and rest 15k to be paid once I get a job and then I can pay in installments with no interest over 6-18 months. Job offers mentioned were from 80k to 110k with fortune 500 clients. Freedom to choose a client or change a client. Training focused on Java, Full stack development, angular, nodejs, spring

c) FDM group: Could not get more information but from what I learnt . Free training and group accommodation but 2 year contract and pays 55-60k with their own clients and makes you bind to a 2 year contract to stay with them or pay 30000$ for early termination. Training is on different topics like java, c#.net and other technologies

3) Track record of placements or alumni

a) Revature—Mixed or not much information ..some reviews and linkedin info has people complaining about they paying very less and being stuck in contracts for 2 years. Drop off rates seems to be high

b) Synergisticit—based on information some reviews and linked in responses. People have got jobs mostly contract jobs though at clients through some staffing partners and are getting paid close to the amount quoted by them. No information on drop off rate

c) FDM group—People seem to have got jobs but appears they enforce contracts and remuneration is low and they keep margins resulting in lower pay to us

As per my calculation if I stay with Revature for 2 years and get paid 120k +4800$+1500$ for accommodation I get paid 126,300 over 2 years.

FDM group I get paid 120,000 and again 2 year contract and pay 30k for contract violation

Synergisticit I pay 10000$ and rest I pay only if I get a job and in installments from my pay and if I get paid 80000 (lower end of their scale) first year and 2nd year I should get promoted as I will have 1 year experience and hopefully switch to another job I get 100k I make 180k .180 -25k ( 15k over a year in installments) =155k

Even though synergisticit is asking money upfront I am leaning towards it as I feel

  1. I could verify with alumni that they got jobs even though contract

  2. No contract binding me and freedom to choose from big clients is a big thing for me as my future growth depends on clients I choose I feel.

  3. Training duration is the longest at synergisticit and I read good things about their training quality.

Other option for me is to keep trying myself and do self study on udemy and courserra and not join any of them. Its just I am scared and I have my friend and alumni go without jobs for a year trying on their own and I don’t want to be in the same boat.

I contacted staffing firms and other consulting firms and many are not interested due to lack of experience or they ask me to cook up a resume of 6-7 years fake experience which I don’t feel comfortable with.

After talking to more than 100 people and spending almost 2 months on my career decision I am confused and worried.

Can anyone contribute I don’t want to be wrong and I have student loans to repay and don’t want to pay 10k which leaves me without a job and poorer by 10k

July 3, 2020 - I got the same email so the first thing I did was check if someone else had the same name and lo and behold, it came out. The REAL SynergisticIT company website is synergistic-it dot com.
