Hi I just got refunded by apple for a subscription from an app, how long does it take for the money to be transferred back into my bank account? They do not specify how long it will take.
How long do refunds take?
Apple refund question
I'm sure it has happened to someone, somewhere. I mean, it's a company that does billions of transactions a year, there's bound to be a glitch or three.
I can say that I've had about a dozen refunds over the years, most small (app refunds) but a few larger, including a phone. I've never failed to receive the money within a week.

I seem to recall there was some information floating around about predatory apps that were offering "free trials" and then subbing it's end users to charge them.
I realize that doesn't help you directly, but just wanted to add a little more context to the situation. This is apparently a predatory practice by a few bad actors in the app store.

In US this is usually determined by your bank actually.
Example:
Order and pay for something card charged and money taken from your account. Next day call and cancel, retailer refunds to bank immediately, can take up to 3 days for money to go back into your account.
Banks are getting much better and faster about this. The 3 day thing is a banking regulation if I remember correctly. Been years since I've had to deal with this kind of stuff.
Used to deal with credit/debit card sales at a level where I could see exactly what was going on, people would cancel then call the next day wondering why they didn't have their money back yet. Could show them my account history where I got their money and refunded their money. I don't have your money go talk to your bank.
