Apparently Gordon Ramsay has 4 or 5 restaurants on the strip (Gordon Ramsay Steak, Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill, Ramsay's Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay Burger, and maybe some others, I forget). I really want to experience Gordon's food and I am planning on returning to Vegas. I went to the Pub and Grill my last trip and I really liked it. However, how would you guys rank them based on taste? I am a Gordon superfan so I really want to get a lot of his authentic food.

I would say skip Hells Kitchen and just go to Steak. Hells Kitchen is good and the experience is cool if you’re a fan of the show but it’s basically the same food at Steak. Now if you also want the experience of eating at Hells Kitchen you won’t be disappointed by the food. Haven’t tried Pub and Grill so can’t speak on that one. You forgot about Ramsay’s Fish and Chips. While expensive, the Fish and Chips are done really well and one of my friends who used to live in England said it’s probably the best they’ve had since. Absolutely hits the spot after a long day on the Linq Promenade, especially if you’ve been drinking. Gordon Ramsay’s Burger I thought was good but skip the Wagyu burger. IMO it was overpriced and the burgers everyone else ordered were just as good, if not better. The Idiot Sandwich was really good when we went. Can’t speak for Kitchen since it wasn’t open when we last went. Or maybe it was and it just didn’t make our list for places we wanted to go to.

Going to Vegas at the end of January with a close friend. We want to have some fun and go to a celebrity chef restaurant, and Gordon is our guy. How would you rank/recommend the various options? Hells kitchen sounds fun, but there's also fish/chips, pub, burger, Ramsays kitchen, and steak. Money isn't an issue, but we would love the best bang for our buck. Reviews online seem to be about the same for all of them on the 1-5 scale. Thanks!

People hate this place and I’m going to get flack for it but Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips is my favorite of his restaurants in Vegas. Deep fried lobster with truffle fries at 10:30 at night on the go with the aïoli. So damn good. Hells Kitchen’s isn’t the greatest restaurant in the world but it is a fun place to eat and serves his signature dishes. If you want a Gordon Ramsay style meal, this is the closest you’ll get in Vegas, in my opinion. More so than Steak. Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill had one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had in my life. The short rib nachos. Got it on a whim and I was thoroughly blown away. Outside of that it’s rather a mediocre place but that is a dish I’ll never forget. I don’t think they serve it after lunch though. Gordon Ramsay Steak was fine. It didn’t really stick out beyond similar restaurants of that caliber to me. Nothing bad, nothing spectacular but a nice high-end place to eat. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice restaurant but not particularly memorable. Gordon Ramsay Burger was the best burger I had in my life up until that point. But then I tried it again in Chicago and it kind of sucked. So it could’ve been a one off, who knows? That was the first place I ever eat in Vegas though so that could’ve impacted my view at the time. Ramsay’s Kitchen sucked pretty bad. The seafood appetizer was OK but everything else was terrible. The atmosphere, the service, it’s just not a good place to eat. It doesn’t deserve a spot on the list at all really. Not sure what I expected for a restaurant in Harrah’s though.

Hells Kitchen is probably the best, considering you can’t even get in there as they’re booked solid forever. I’ve been to GR Steak…it was ok. Haven’t tried any of the burger spots yet.

Not gonna lie, Burger at Planet Hollywood blew me away. Absolutely unlike any other burger I’ve had before, their fries with their UK ketchup is insanely good; sticky toffee pudding shake as well. Definitely making that place a must-go during every trip of ours to Vegas.
