What is the pay for job titles similar to High School Student at Walmart?
What is the salary for a High School Student at Walmart per hour?
I got hired on at $16/hr a couple weeks ago. I work as a stocker. I've heard of people making $1500+ biweekly in stocking and I want to see if that's bullshit or not.
I want to apply at my local walmart for the “personal shopper” position, because there’s a grocery pickup there. I want to make sure I CAN do that first though, I am 17. However, I am also asking for a friend who is 16, he wants to know what the highest paying position is for a 16 year old at walmart. (part time only)
I’m 16 years old and want to get a job. Walmart pays more money than small businesses/stores around my area and I heard it can pay for college tuition, but my mom doesn’t want me to work there because of the type of people in the large store and fears me being a victim of a crime.
I know there are numerous positions, but is it worth it working at Walmart as a teen who would only be able to work weekends? Is it a bad work environment? Would it be difficult for me??? Thanks :)
I just got a job offer from walmart for 17 dollars and hour for Stocking 2 TA how much did you guys start making
What I was able to find on it as a TL.
I'm from Illinois I don't live in Chicago I live in a small town but I make 17.82 night shift maintenance. The cost of living here is low where I live. But Walmart is the best paying job besides a factory where your mandatory to work overtime and 12 hours 6 days a week so my job is pretty nice and ez and the pay is great.
Omg this blew up thanks for the upvotes. I have come to realize that a lot of you don't make more than what I made when I work to Taco Bell I made $13.50 at Taco Bell and that wasn't enough to live on. I think everyone should make at least 17 and more on night shift.
I am getting 14 per hour just starting I'm curious how my pay compares
As the title says, I am under 18, still in high school, and deal with major social anxiety and depression. I’m looking for Walmart jobs that are relatively easy and require minimal interaction with others, if possible. This could be my first job.
I’ve asked around, and many people suggested overnight stocking, but since I’m under 18, I don’t think that’s an option. I have a 2-3 month break due to summer, so I’d like something temporary or flexible.
Walmart's starting pay in 2018 was $11/hr, adjusting for inflation that is $13.63, as near as makes no difference to $14. Once you adjust for inflation Walmart hasn't increase its starting wage in years. But don't forget they took away myshare so in real terms there's been a significant pay cut. Team Leads started at $19/hr when Teaming rolled out, today that would be $22.40. For Coaches its even worse, starting pay was $55,000 in 2020 when the coach position rolled out, today its still $55,000 but adjusting for inflation it should be $65,000. Don't forget that even with Walmart's "generous" cost of living adjustment (2%) you will be getting a pay cut. In January 2023 Walmart announced everyone was going to $14, as of November that should be $14.37, a 2% raise would be just $14.28.
