As of 2020 when I ordered my Mk3 no import fees under $800. I'm not sure if it's changed since then

anyone know how much custom duty is from usa
Depends on what you're buying specifically, and it's not a good idea to underdeclare values. Customs cross check this and may start looking for proof of payments and bank statements if they think the value is not right. More on reddit.com

Import duty to USA
Duty is 4% of declared value. A tariff of 25% is coming, but we don't know when. I have an order in for a Core One kit. I hope it will get here before the tariff hits. Otherwise, I'll have to cancel the order. More on reddit.com

$800 vs $10K - US Customs tax
You are suppose to declare to the customs official that you are bringing in more than $800 worth of goods you acquired abroad. The forms are rarely used anymore - you just should verbally declare it to customs. If you don't declare it and you get caught, you could find yourself anywhere from just paying the import tax up to being fined and the good confiscated. The $10K thing is just when you must report cash on your person. This is just to help fight money laundering and such - they will make a record if it (and want to know why you have it - possibly request proof of how you got it). This has nothing to do with import tax on goods. More on reddit.com

That’s because foreign buyers pay fewer tariffs for goods made in the U.S. compared with similar goods from countries without FTAs. Below are steps for finding and calculating estimated tariffs and taxes. Only the customs officers in the country where the goods clear can make the final determination.

r/prusa3d on Reddit: Is there any US Customs import duty/fees if price less than 800 USD?
February 2, 2023 -

I am in the US and want to order items from Asia. The seller has informed that the shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival in the US.

I have heard that goods under 800 USD are exempt from import taxes, but I am unsure if this is accurate. I checked the US Customs and Border Protection website, but I am still confused. If my imported goods are valued at less than 800 USD (about 130 USD), will I still be charged for import fees?
