I found the cheapest way was to subscribe at the highest level for 4 months, and then cancel the subscription. That gives you 4000 cubes, which is exactly what is needed to finish every module. This obviously will change if/when they add new modules, but as of now that's the best way to do it. More on reddit.com

Hello everyone,
I am looking for information about how much HTB would cost me, but I cannot find any information for individuals.
I have found out that you need two different subscriptions for HTB Lab and Academy if you want to use both. And that you can buy cubes as currency, but there is no information about the prices. I also can't find any information on the website about accepted payment methods. If I didn't know that HTB is a reputable provider, I would get strong scam vibes. I would be willing to sign a monthly or annual contract, but I need to know beforehand what it costs and how I pay for it. And no, I don't want to have to register somewhere first. That's pretty off-putting.
Could someone (perhaps from the HTB staff) help me out and make the prices and payment methods for individuals transparent? (And explain to me why this information is not easy to find anywhere on the website? What do you have to hide? Don't you want individuals as customers?)

Hi folks, best of the upcoming weekend to you all.
I've been on THM for a very long time and was investigating different platforms. I had a sub to HTB Academy a couple years ago. I've about finished the learning paths on THM and am looking for additional spice.
I don't quite 'get' exactly how the 'HTB universe' of subdomains is setup with pricing - there's Academy, CTF, Labs, App etc etc.
I'm mostly interested in accessing their old (and new) machines for personal practice and for this it seems the VIP subscription at $14/month is appropriate (maybe the VIP+ if I decide on that). I also leave the possibility open that there are still great nuggets of knowledge within it's Academy that would compliment the knowledge attained from THM, Portswigger and the other platforms I've messed with over the years. It seems that the first tier that I'm eligible for there is $18/month even though the VIP subscription on app.hackthebox.etc etc seems to include everything.
If I get the VIP (or VIP+) will I still get cubes to access modules, learning paths and labs from Academy or are these separate pricings? Is it possible to get access to Academy, Labs & App with one subscription?
I'm still perusing the platform to find these things out but there's no feedback better than an HTB vet with experience and familiarity of the platform. With the multiple subdomains that each require a separate login the pricing scheme isn't immediately obvious. I thank in advance all productive responses. Best of all to you all

Is it just me or the HTB academy cost is very expensive? I am not sure if I understand their prices correctly but to undertake some AD modules it requires about £50 p/m subscription and then, you only get enough cubes for only one IV module.
Am I missing something?

Academy pricing is not cheap. That's for sure (unless you can take advantage of student subscription - but it's only until tier 2(?)). Nevertheless, the material on htb academy is top notch. I feel like I learn the most from academy (compared to thm, htb vip, etc). I subscribe to academy gold now and keep collecting cubes....as long as they keep developing new material with such high standard, I'm willing to support them with subscription.
