Hey y’all. I started working at Walmart in like 2018 or 2019 or something. I opted to invest in the stock share program. I ended up quitting some time in 2022. I totally forgot about it until recently and I’m wondering if anyone knows if those stocks still belong to me or if I forfeited them when I quit? If I can still get them does anyone know how I can get to them?
Hello, I am a young Canadian Walmart employee working part-time at university. While there, I managed to rack up a good amount of stock using Computershare. I wanted to ask what would happen to my stock if I left my part-time job to pursue jobs in the field. Also, is there any other way around the capital gains tax on my stock if I were to sell them? I asked a manager at my Walmart and they told me I would have to sell all my stocks if I were to leave from Walmart. Hoping to get some good advice.
Once you leave Walmart and have stock that you don't want to sell yet what happens to it? If you choose to keep it in does Computershare take monthly fees or anything like that?
I put in my two week notice yesterday. I have over $1000+ in stock from the employee stock purchase plan and over $200+ in my 401k with Merril Lynch. When I no longer work at Walmart, will I still be able to sell and manage my stock? Also, what happens to my 401k?
