July 17, 2023 - Changing Level at Codeforce involves many ups and downs, but it’s important to focus on the topics, and process rather than getting fixated on these metrics. Atthe end, these levels, and ratings are just a part of the larger picture of success and do not solely define it.
How to become an expert in 3 months
It took me 6 months to become an expert from pupil, but I am assuming that you are a specialist so theoretically it is possible. First try to improve your constructive algorithms(learn about exchange arguments, no sum games etc) and practice a lot of questions <=1700 Then work on your dp, solve atcoder's dp contest and try to build intuition rather than learning the solutions. That will also help you in the long run too. Finally practice a lot of bit manipulation questions, codechef has a great set afaik. This worked for me so ig you'll be fine too. You can also read about range query data structures from the cp handbook if you have time but it's really not necessary for becoming an expert. All the best More on reddit.com

June 20, 2023 - CSES is a must-solve if you want to become an expert. It has a diverse range of high-quality questions and around 200 problems. The USACO guide and cpalgorithms are great resources for learning DSA for CP in detail. They also provide practice problems after each lesson. You should definitely check them out. The Atcoder DP contest is essential for mastering DP, with only 26 questions. Codeforces educational rounds, codechef starters, and atcoder beginner contests are also helpful for improvement.

If your rating is 1200, solve many 1200-rated problems. It’s not a waste of time. Don’t jump to harder problems too soon. Many people do this, but they end up spending too much time thinking and not enough time implementing. Therefore, they become good at problem-solving but suck at implementation.
