I've been working with the combination formula : nCr= n!/(n-r)!r! ... Smart factoring/canceling of terms should help you out then. For example, if n = 50 and r = 50 (50!)/((50-5)!5!) = (50!)/((45)!5!) = (50x49x48x47x46)/5!. ... You remind me of my discrete course.. simplified answers required, no calculator allowed.
