So I'm getting an Amazon package delivered-- wasn't aware it was going to require a signature, been home all day and the package... well it just didn't come. Not the greatest feeling but I'll just be patient and wait a couple of days-- thing is, I want to change it to to *not* require a signature since I'll be home all week and can't figure out how to since no infonotice number or slip was ever left??
What can I do besides, like, hope it comes & the delivery person rings since there's no slip and it seems the phone line doesn't let me talk to a representative, just track a package via a robot by inputting all my info??
Super confused as to where to even go w/ this??

Update for anyone who stumbles on this... UPS's update on the package came next day via my email-- which eased some of my frustrations. Still want to believe something other than 'they just decided not to deliver or leave a slip' but at least I had something to work with. So I signed up for a UPS account the day before in a fit of logging in and tracking the package, not sure how it ties ties my account to my package, maybe someone here knows? Might just be that I logged in after viewing the link the email sent me to... The important part, the second headache: on the page to change the signature options I realized I *needed* to enter a place to leave the package which seems obvious but none of the options are just 'lobby' which is what I'd need being in an NYC apartment w/o a doorman so I kept getting bounced to a blank page that read "manage delivery instructions." Didn't know I just needed to fill out that field and now everything is changed... Still hate it when I'm home all day and don't get the buzz but UPS is pretty solid usually so it's only a minor headache. Hopefully this helps someone!

I ordered iPhone 11 Pro and UPS didn't deliver it on the promised date. They said they attempt but I was at home and they didn't even leave an infonotice. Anyway I called them and requested to keep it in their store. They said me I could take it on Saturday but the store was closed on that date. More on discussions.apple.com

I just had to go through this process and figured I'd post here in case this helps anyone else out.
I had originally made a typo on the address of my PSVR2 pre-order. I had since updated the address on my account thinking that was all I needed to do. I didn't realize it didn't update the address on the order itself until it was too late. So I had to do an intercept with UPS to avoid it getting shipped to the wrong place.
If you're in the US, you can call the UPS re-routing center at 1-800-742-5877. They needed my name and the tracking number. They can do a MINOR change (meaning a small address change like two numbers transposed) free of charge. Changing the entire address or doing a "hold for pickup at a UPS location near you" is a $7.99 charge that they process over the phone.
It was a fairly simple and hassle free process that brought me a lot of peace of mind.
